Weekend Links

Here's what you missed over the weekend...

RotoAuthority
--Tim really likes Cole Hamels and thinks you should too. Hamels has had a lot of injuries over the years, but none of them, besides a broken arm in High School, had to do with his pitching arm.
--He takes a look at the closer situation for the AL East.
--I don't recommend drafting a guy to be strictly your DH in a higher round, but in case you need one, Tim gives you a list of guys that may add a positive punch to your line up in 2007.

Extreme Fantasy Baseball

--Aaron takes a look at Brandon McCarthy of the White Sox and gives his projection on the young pitcher. The White Sox have got to make a trade to get rid of one of their current starting five if he's going to get the number of starts Aaron is suggesting. I like this guy myself in a deeper keeper league, but I'm not sure I'd take a flier on him until the last few rounds of my 2007 one year draft.

RotoWorld
--Aaron Gleeman blogs live from the 2007 Winter Meetings down in Orlando, FL.
--Matthew Pouliot discusses who are the top candidates to be traded this week at the Winter Meetings. In case you didn't know already.
